Hametsu is a solo or cooperative monster-hunting game set in a post-apocalyptic feudal Japan. Players assume the role of Hunters, warriors trained to combat a surge of Oni demons and mythical creatures unleashed by The Cataclysm. Choose from nine unique classes, spread across three schools, to create formidable Hunters. Once ready, venture out to seek dangerous beasts. At game start, Hunters have the element of surprise, with Oni unaware of their presence. Once alerted, Hunters are pursued and targeted until the Boss appears. Then, it's up to you to defeat it! As you complete hunts and guide your Hunters along their class-specific Path of Legend, they'll level up, gain new abilities and gear, and equip ancient artifacts.
