Famous for the Tiger I, Germany also produced the lesser-known Tiger (P), with 'P' signifying Porsche's involvement. In 1941, Henschel and Porsche developed new heavy tank designs, Porsche's being the VK4501(P). Presented in April 1942, Porsche's design was deemed inferior. Only five Tiger (P) vehicles were made in 1942, used for training and testing. One saw combat on the Eastern Front in 1942. Dragon previously released this tank in 1/35 scale, now featuring a Zimmerit coating to counter magnetic charges. The kit retains original details, assembles smoothly, and comes with a professionally sculpted Zimmerit texture. Unpainted and assembly required.
